Odd name indeed. Truth is he usually just goes by Sid. Sid is Rog's grandfather, and for an old pony there is far more to him than meets the eye. Indeed he's far older, far larger, but years and years and powerful magic have given him a chance to relax and travel in a more convenient manner, seeing as dragons attract a lot of attention but an old pony, well not so much. Sid love history, music, art, lapidary work, so many things, and he always wants to learn more. Most importantly, he instilled a love of knowledge and a joy for life in his daughter, and her son.
