FYI, there was a character in the IDW My Little Pony comics that also dressed like Velma Dinkley, and her name was Prancy Drew.

More people will recognize Velma.

The outfit is based off of Velma from Scooby-doo. The orange sweater, the red skirt, orange socks, and the red shoes. You even added the glasses in. XD

I really like this picture but there are a few things bothering me that I think you could improve or do better on, May I explain them?

sure.

the hand holding the book looks a bit off, the thumb to be exact. And the leafs on the tree and bush look rushed they could use some defining or more detail in the background it's fine but for the foreground it just looks... Sorry to say it but, Lazy. And some extra detail on the grass under the bench would make it look much better considering the effort you put into the tree bark, bench and trash cancompared to... well, I think you know what I'm trying to say.

The shading:

Her clothes make me think the light is coming from the left of the screen, But her feet and the bench shadows behind her back make me think it's coming from the top... I'd assume the light source is coming from the top left corner, if this is the case there is some shadows missing to the right of her tail (on the bench) as well as the bushes shadow in the foreground, Plus the shading in the background trees could stand to be defined more...

Just remember that these are MY personal opinions.
