Heavy heart
My birthday present to myself.
Absinthe in private is usually not as arrogant or seductive as I might tend to portray him. He has severely damaged emotions from his years being corrupted by Adonis. Here he is brooding about all cruel things he has done to himself and those he loves over the years.
Media used: watercolor, copic markers, patterned paper and photoshop to fix some colors.

Before full-viewing it I thought it was a woman. ;) The string that tied the black piece together created the impression of cleavage.
When I did full view though, it didn't seem so much as a dress anymore. Or a woman. ;)
In fact, that outfit is rather interesting because of that. It's quite unique. It's neither masculine, nor feminine, but both a male and a female could wear it and look both like their gender and look good in it.
Love the 3d texture on the over-tunic, and you also managed to do folds and shading in it too.
Really impressive.
The background looks very good too. :)
