Oh, wow... I am back! And here's the first artwork after a very long and annoying ART BLOCK!
This is a long overdue BIRTHDAY GIFT ARTWORK for both my friends "Goddy" and "Toumal". But it's not only a gift artwork, it's also a special piece... because this day really happened for real and it is a day to remember!

You can see Goddy (left), Reptile (middle) and Toumal (right) enjoying a hot summer day in a cool lake. That was a cool summer!!
I hope you like it, guys! In fact, I'm especially proud of the way I drew "Goddy"... because this is a character I have NEVER drawn before!
And I also like the water effects and shiny skin effects... especially on Toumal's skin. This is a simple yet effective technique!
Yeah, I've tried a slightly different style for each skin type!
NOTES:
1) This is the first picture I've done after a long ART BLOCK!
2) This is the first picture I've created at my new PC... the old one broke!
3) Most of the background is drawn by hand this time (except the trees in the far background)!
4) This is one of the very few artworks in which Reptile is looking... really happy!
5) Reptile's shorts are roughly inspired by an artwork done by "DJ Darkfox":

As you can see, Reptile did... steal one of DJ's shorts, more or less! XD

Yeah, I used to draw at my old PC... which was essentially ONLY a digital drawing station, nothing else.
But when it broke... I had to move it all to my current "Internet PC"... and this one is much faster... with high res and stuff... it took some time to get used to it.

The dragon is "Godracos Mystclaw" from SoFurry!
I have never drawn him before and I am happy how he turned out.

Well, there are no scales here... but I'm sure you're referring to the "shiny" effect! ^^ Yeah, this time I tried to make em all... eh... glossy? Shiny!!! :D
They are all wet, hehehe.
I guess, the best bulge is on the left side... green pants... XD These pants are sooo tight! ;)

So you have a new computer huh? sorry that your old one went broked : l I hope you have most of yuor files saved though.
But DAMN ths is an awesome pic man : D I LOVE IT!!!
So you finally decide to make more hand made in the water, huh? I gotta said it looks amazing the choose of colors, the shape of the waves and also the reflects of the characters on it ^ ^ See? hand made makes better results ; ) I LOVE YOUR WATER!!!
And well, maybe you haven´t done the trees itself but at least you make a good work matching them with the illustration in general. Is an advantage that they´re far away afterall so the details woul be minimalistic.
And for the characters in general. I can see what do you mean by working with each character´s body. They all look really good ; ) But definitly the one named Goddy surely looks a bit different from what you usually draw, not bad with him ^ ^
Something I notice. The three characters´ poses looks kinda normal the standby, as if they were just standing each other like that. But well, after you put it out this is a pic you made after an art block, is understandable. But yeah, maybe something like an arm over someone´s shoulder and one of them showing a thumb up as if they were posing for a pic shot could have a better result. Nevertheless, this ended up pretty great! ^ ^ Definitly it will go to my faves and files to safe : D

I dreamed it to be a splashy scene... with them playing with each other. But in the end... it was just like "3 guys posing next to each other".
It could have been better.
At least, they are using their facial expressions to communicate with each other. ^^"

Hehehe yeah, technically Reptile and Toumal has the same pose like a 70% XD
But don´t worry, as you said, you were having an art block and that make a terrible restriction in your ideas. That idea of them splashing over sound like a great idea. Is a shame that you weren´t in a good state to work on it. But hey! the work itself, and the details were pretty well done, not bad for a blocked mood ^ ^ So congratulations for the efforts.
It´s more important the intention afterall ; )
