Devin: Hey, wait, Oliver. Where'd you get that neckerchief?

Oliver: why do you ask

Devin: Just wondering, really.

Oliver: it was given to me

Devin: By who?

Oliver: a group of pokemon

Devin: And they gave it to you...why?

Oliver: to join their pokemon guild or whatever where they go exploring and rescue people and stuff like that

Devin: Oh. *He sighs and continues doing what he was doing, thinking that he wouldn't be able to join something like that because of his lack of moveset and use of tools.*

Oliver: Whats wrong

Devin: "N-Nothing..."

Oliver: :c

The Riolu sighs and heads off to his room, needing a break from life at the moment.

Oliver: *droops ears and goes to my room

Over the next day, news spreads that Devin seemingly just up and left during the night.

Oliver: *had heard the news* :c why.....

Maybe it was because of the whole explorer's guild thing, and how it's more Pokemon-based than human.

Oliver: *goes to find you*

He's nowhere near the Team Magma base...

Zane walks up to you.

Oliver: *looks at zane

Zane: "I just thought I'd let you know that we searched his room. Only what he had on him before joining us is missing, and nothing else." He pauses. "But he forgot about this." He reveals Devin's journal.

Oliver: oh.. *looks at the journal*

In the most recent page, he finds a drawing of two faces: one being Devin's, and the other being Oliver's, the guild's scarf where the Oshawott drawing's neck would be. Oliver is depicted as smiling, while Devin has a more serious, disenheartened, and even somewhat disdained facial expression, looking in the direction opposite of Oliver's head. It's as if the Riolu has something else on his mind that's related to this.

Oliver: h...hmm... *droops ears a little thinking about this*

Zane: "Maybe you should go look for him; see if he's alright."

Oliver: *nods* I will go look for him

Zane: "Good luck."

Oliver: *nods then leaves*

Meanwhile, Devin's trudging through the forest, his trusty bow, etc. with him.

(Want him to encounter some rescue/exploration team members?)

(sure) Oliver: *looking for you*

Devin comes across an all-Pokemon town, so he ventures into it and sees what's in this place.

Oliver: *i head in the direction of the town to see if i find you there*

(Why don't we just focus on Devin for now in the off chance he's actually accepted into the guild later on?)

Devin notices that quite a few of these town's residents appear to have similar clothing accessories as Oliver, making him feel a little more disdained upon realizing that this could be where that guild the Oshawott mentioned is headquartered.

*the residents are minding their own business*

A few of the newer or younger guild members could notice him at this moment.

*they come to him*

Devin notices that a Pikachu and Totodile(my Blue Rescue Team characters) walked up to him. "Hm? What do you want?"

*they talk to you*

Pikachu: "Hi! Welcome to what we like to call Paradise!"

Totodile: We've never seen a Pokemon like you before, so we thought we'd say hi!" He holds out a stubby little claw, offering a handshake.

Devin: *'Why does that sound so rehearsed...?'* He silently turns and leaves.

Totodile: "Um...sir?" He's a little surprised by this Pokemon turning down a friendly handshake.
