I have toyed with the idea of making Chronicles of Gathion a mixed-race world of humans and anthropomorphic beings, the latter featuring less human characteristics than my characters have now. My original attempt still felt too cartoonish to really fulfill what I was going for, but I think I did a better job this time around. I don't know if it will stick, but at least I'm happier with this path if I follow it. :)
