... WTF?!? What happened to Mew x Mewtwo?!? Actually, nothing. This comic is a side-story that take place centuries before Mewtwo was born. Mew, haunted by loneliness, end up developing feelings toward her Servant, Lucario, who like her back in the same way... yet, their titles, pride, and code of honor keep them from going farther.
... until the day Mew decides to just forget the rules and do what she always wanted...

This comic is slightly ancient but still, glad you liked it.
Arceus is not the creator ; canon has strongly hinted (and gave some evidence) that Arceus is actually an imposter and may be truly evil. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, Arceus was actually born at the same time as Mew but was born without powers (Mew was born "perfect" while Arceus was born "imperfect"). As each Legendary would be born, they created and gave him his Plates out of pity.
For a reason not yet revealed (although most likely jealousy), Arceus tried to take over the world, posing as the only god and syphoning powers from other Legendaries using his Plates to make himself look convincing. Considering the state of canon, he was obviously thwarted.
Mew and the original Legendaries remain the proper deities of the Pokémon World.
As for the pairing...
I actually prefer Mewtwo x Mew for a variety of reasons but I also respect Lucario x Mew, this comic being a testament to my respect for it. As for this comic, I thought that the story I gave it would be more fitting of the two characters ; Mew, underneath her childish attitude, actually care deeply for the world and its inhabitants and I thought that it would be interesting to make a scenario in which she opened her heart to Lucario and helped him accept his feelings for her.
It has been a long while since I drawn stuff involving Pokémon on this site, both adult and non-adult. Maybe I'll revisit some of the pairings I drawn a lot when I'll start submitting stuff anew.

I don't think Arceus was considered to be evil as said in the movie or considered to be imposter since IT did says that there was one egg during the beginning and that was Arceus at that time, who then I think created the Time and Space and Kyogue/Grondon plus added mew to spread the world, but whatever.
Hahaha I kindna gave up on MewtwoxMew well sorry about that and no offence but, then that thought of them being a couple was pop out from a person who said, "Isn't Mewtwo and Mew are like mother and son? Cousins?" Since afterall he is a clone, same Dna as Mew. So I was like yea it sounds rather fitting Mew to be like mother to Mewtwo I mean it makes sense to me and I blame myself for believing that quote from the game: "Mew gave birth to Mewtwo" thing. xp
I am a huge LucarioxMew fan, and there are some many reasons I support it especially the Riolu one x3 *WHO LOOKS LIKE MEWxLUCARIO'S LOVECHILD O_O*.
And as a strange awkwardness I kindna support ArceusxMewtwo as well. Yes random I know but, hey they're both strong in the game while Arceus is placed number one for being higher stats than him. However; I kindna felt like if Mewtwo would questioned about his purpose he probably go to the goddess ask questions what is his "purpose in life." xP rather than going to ask to Mew about it. I mean can so probably picture it.
Mewtwo: Mom...what's the purpose of life?
Mew: Having fun! ^ ^
Mewtwo: That's it?
Mew: Well having adventure with friends and playing lots of toys...oh and lots of delicious food!
Mewtwo: ...Are you serious?
Now think of Mewtwo meets Arceus.
Mewtwo: ....You who created my mother, and being a creator of time and space who rules with the one over the elements do you know the purpose of life?
Arceus: There's all sorts of things you can do with life, there is a limit on what you can do and you can't do.
Mewtwo: And what is that? What is my purpose of doing?
Arceus: Well it's not easy to figure it out, that you sometimes have to find out on your on. Like which path you have to take during your lifetime sometimes if you made a mistake do you want to go further or you want to move on the next path. It is your choice.
Mewtwo: ....That's very interesting...
