Art? Ha! Im still in gundam mode :D (so sorry on bring so slow with art)
Wanted to start my Real Grade Raiser kit I got today, just to see how it is. And the leg is lookin fine, wasnt difficult to build it sans a kinda hard to snap in ankle cover. Panel lined.
My only complaint so far is the nubs are kinda noticable. I tried trimming and sanding them a tad but I cant quite rid them. Oh well thisll be good to lower stress from school this and probably next week XD
Im hoping this kit will be better than the RG Justice, which looked great but was a bit stiff and had trouple with any of its own accessories.

I know how the build for the RG 00 Raiser since my first RG kit(At the time I had only built two HGAC Gundam Kits) was the RG Gundam Exia(Yeah I watched the GunplaTV YouTube build video repeaditily and Syd warned about the watching out and not to cut that one piece on the forearm that the GN strip that rooked onto it(I goofed X_X)
Yep I messed that one up.
Also I can see the sidecutters and hobby cutting mat in the background. But by going on the fact that you build Gundam Modile kits. I'm just going to see if I can list the basic tools that you use when building. So here I go...
Tools
Hobby cutting mat
Sidecutters
sand paper(400-1000 grit) or sanding blocks
modeling files
Hobby knifes(X-acto, or some other cutting knife)
Tamaya Modeling cement(normal or Extra-thin)
Mark Softern
Mark Setter
tweezers
reversed tweezers(squeeze to open and release pressure to apply pressure on the)
Hobby scissors
masking tape
So is that all of them?

I have most of them! I dont have tamiya for glue, i just have a cheap bottle of testors (works well enough) I don't use setters, tweezers (I just use the blunt end of my knife to lift decals and stickers) or hobby scissors, i just use normal scissors, good pair though its a good cut. And ya lots of masking tape for the painting work I have done. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19911231/ a lot of masking, haha.
Dunno if it counts but I use sticky tac to tighten up joints or connection that are too loose, but need to be able to move.
Sand paper I do have i use for stubborn nubs or wiping off extraneous paint. I need to cut out a new sheet though this ones old lol.

Well I was close. And neither do I have Tamiya Model cemente.(But I'm planning on buying some Tamiya extra thin cemente since I found that the Tamiya cemente when you apply it to the plastic it would bond the parts down to the chemical level by exothermic reaction between the cemente and the plastic parts.)
And when I start building Gundam model kits
(my first was the HGAC 1/144 New Mobile Report Gundam Wing XXXG-01W Wing Gundam which I got coming up on 3 years ago.) the only tools I had was a small piece of scrap 600 grit sandpaper(My stepfather has a shop out in the backyard), metal wire cutters, tweezers, and a Sharpie black marker. And as I bought my next HG kit(Was the HGAC XXXG-00W0 Proto Zero, and my first RG kit the Exia), then I waited awhile at which I then got the HGBF Build Strike Full Package, then while watching an episode of Gunpla.TV on YouTube my comment that I posted on Hobbylinks.TV website was picked and I won the MG XXXG-01W and the MG XXXG-01W Ver Ka. from them.
So from when I started to today my tools now include
Sandpaper(400, 600, and 2,000 girt)
Scotch tape hobby knife Titanium coated
I stole some fresh sharp carpet and boxing razor blades from my stepfather's shop.
Gundam Markers(Seed 6 park set) and Black, Grey, and Mechanical Green.
Reversed Tweezers(Hobby Lobby)
Jeweler scissiors and sidecutters
crafting foam mats that I use for building my models on and as background for taking pictures.
Himming pins to help with removing the decal stick ons.
and a Men's pocket sized grooming kits to help with applying dry transfer decals.
Yeah so half of my tools I got for next to nothing for the small town I live in is a fucking dead zone for scale modeling stores. the closest one to where I live is Hobby Lobby in St. Augustine, Florida.
But we make do with what we can get our hands on for tools.
