Today is 
Tarkustralszar's birthday, and so I surprised him with a little gift - a sketch of his dragon and all of our friends with whom we chat most everyday all being read a bedtime story by 
theLeonard.
Funny thing about these characters - Tarkus, Rhos, and Leonard took me foreeeever to draw, meanwhile everything with fur took 5-15 minutes each. Suunto, easy. Big barabear Dex, easy. Little human dragon rider? Hard as hell. xD I started in the fandom with furry beasts, must be those early practice days of drawing werewolf after werewolf at play! Although Tarkus was a lot easier than he once was due to the practice I got with the animatic and sculpture.
Never underestimate the power of practice and repetition!

That one! I'm soooo excited for this one. It's got everything that makes a game interesting to me! You've got a dragon buddy, awesome world, Fucking swordplay and magic, and techno. I can't think kg anything else to add to this game. XD

So cute!! Love this picture! This is my response when my partner reads to me. I just get so comfy and relaxed that I start snoozin! So now I am the story reader if we want to actually follow along. :P
As for the drawing - I have the hardest time with fur and hair. I spent my childhood drawing dragons and whales so have little practice with the chaos and ever changing nature of fur.

Haha, thanks Axikor! Yeah, Leonard is just kind of the default story teller. He's so good at doing funny voices, he's just the most entertaining choice.
Fur is a whole other animal! (lol) But, once you get your hand accustomed to its shapes, its very fun and relaxing to do. A couple of tutorials set me on the right path years ago. I could try to dig them up if you ever wanted!
