Both designs just happened to have the same theme and use of blue to represent pale dead skin/fur.
Please take a moment to compare them entirely, you will see that nothing is really similar at all in design work.
I hope that you know this was completely coincidental that the themes matched, but after all, it is Halloween and vampire was already on my list.

No you're right, I can't imagine that you would intentionally copy someone else's design, but damn that's a hell of a coincidence. The blue skin, the sideburns, the cuffs, the cloak, even the spats.
Your's just looks hella better than mine. But I like the tail, that was pretty creative.
But I guess Vampires would be a common theme around Halloween.

When I looked up vampire costumes, a lot of what you listed in features is basically what identifies a classic vampire.
I was going to go with green for the fur but decided on pale blue since it seemed like a better choice.
The spat idea actually was a recycled from kendi, which is an older design of mine.
Those features are not a lot to work off of as a designer, so I did my best to come up with as unique a twist as I possibly could.
I'm sorry that this coincidence upset you, I really didn't expect this to be an issue.

Actually all Angels Nest designs are made weeks in advance.
When there are similar themes, they are sure to blend in some areas.
This particular image does not show the entire design and all it's key points of structure.
So yes, the theme isn't original but the design is.

I can see what you mean, as I apparently used a similar pale blue color that I gathered from a palette I had.
At first glance, yes one can definitely assume that there was inspiration between this design and hers, but I can assure you that this was not the case.
I am not sure what the purpose of these comments are, but I will do my best to clear up any possible confusion that is occurring between our work.
