Flash photography in a dark Bowling alley is very tough, very random, but on rare occasion offers for some very unique portraiture shots with effects you'd otherwise only be able to pull off in a studio albeit under controlled conditions.

Yes a good amount of editing went into this. The background was dim, lacking in color and busy. With a little Lightroom magic I was able to make it go away altogether so that only the subject remains.
