Another one of my favorite 'fat furry' characters (in the early days of my discovery of this genre) was 'Huskee' - an unusually corpulent canine creation of BD's - who was featured in such sites as "Gain-R-Web", VCL, "FurNation", etc.
A few years ago, I'd drawn an experimental work (in pencil on a 3"x5" index card) of what 'Huskee' would see, first thing in the morning when he awakens in his bedroom. Through his eyes, he can see (beyond his snout) his big belly (just barely seeing the tips of his toes) and the rising sun through his window. The parallels between this image and that memorable scene from "2001: A Space Odyssey" can't be avoided...

Well, everyone has always seen 'fat furry' characters from the front, rear, and side views, but very few folks get to see things from the perspective of the characters themselves. For example, 'Huskee' was just obese enough, that couldn't even see his own belly button - as it was just beyond his own 'horizon'!
