"Checking on Eve was easy; the poor dear was lying on her bed, sleeping, snuggling against one of her toys. She had mostly plushies and books around, her computer full of cartoons. She liked the soft and cute things, unlike me, and while I loved her to tears I had to be thankful that she didn’t like the color pink, otherwise her room would’ve been hell to visit daily. As it stood though, for as much as we had Eve wanted little of it, and her room was sparsely decorated, with the most expensive thing being her computer and nothing else to write home about."
