So Fluffeh!.....here is the sewn mask mocked up on the head for shearing (I leave it loose from the base while I shave, in case I were to scalp the fur down to the backing.... this way the individual piece can be replaced, as well as pulled off so I can get into tight corners with my shears.)

Even without being glued, you can see how well the mask sits naturally on the base :) 100% hand sewn.... 300 yards of thread.
The ears are made, they just need to be sewn into the pre-cut holes, I just like to shear around the ear bases without having to fight around the curves.

This head will not be glued down with hot glue, rather, I will be using my favorite extra strong glue (Fabri-Fix by Beacon) This glue not only saves you from burns, but holds like E6000 without the enduring smell.

I will also be sewing in small weighted pockets on the front and back of the neck cowl part of the mask, to keep them from flopping around, that way it can be worn without tucking it in. I believe I now have carpal tunnel from sewing.... lmao!

Next time you see her, she will have ears and look much sleeker! oh... and if you look on the bed to her right... There is my dog Millie... the namesake for this character :)
