In today's episode, the Master of Elfhame manages to evade his quasi-house arrest, and visit the hospital where General Wesson is resident, to ask him a few questions. Of course, this opportunity comes about because "Y," the master of disguise, offers to dress up as Winterbough himself. Think this has anything to do with his interest in the Wolf Queen...?
Continuing the story set in the world of Faerie created by
tegerio; last night (10/16/2015), I had an enjoyable run with
Walt46, where he was writing a story (in another setting) utilizing one or two of my characters. He was working through a situation, so we role-played it, speaking in the character voices. Worked like a charm, it did. Writers, take note.

And "Y" learns the valuable lesson that it is not the best idea to take what is 'publicly known' and assume that it is actually true. This little incident may cause some rethinking of WW5 and the Wolf Queen's relationship... that is if "Y" is in any mental shape to work out where his portrayal went askew.
Interesting, that WW5 thought someone might be close enough to listen in at the I&RASH. Wonder what he heard?
And poor Y. Thought he could sneak in a sniff at the Wolf Queen, did he? X will find out, of course. He should've tried for Tessie.
WW should've known better. Y's a lousy guard when he's distracted by tail, as we found out a while back at the ballet....

The characters of Inspector Stagg and D/S Orrin F.X. Brush show up in
Walt46's "Luck of the Dragon" story arc in a number of spots. Rosie Baumgartner (the Inspector's love interest) does as well, though she's not my creation.

I like this mix. There is some progress on the investigation, but more of living and visitor complications in the WW5 household.
"Y" as WW5 starts to remind me of the high-speed approach to that infamous waterski-ramp...
Except... this fits into all the past history we have heard of "Y" (and his marriage with "Z"), and WW5's acceptance of having a friendly impostor in his house for an afternoon certainly fits his hospitality and personality. And (Thank Fuma's near identical scent-glands!) this situation is near-immediately resolved (in mid-thrashing) by the Wolf-Queen seeing both WW5s. And she immediately knows which one is the real WW5. (The one that wasn't so infuriating, in publicly asking disappointing and out-of-character questions.)
Tow-boat and water-skiier swerve away from the ramp.
As much as I want to 'ship' WW5 and the Wolf Queen, they already seem to have a Very Complicated relationship on their own.
