just did a bit of double-checking. apparently, "free agent" is more commonly code for someone who is poly-amorous (which is a common stereotype for bisexuals... i hate that). but the thing with colloquial terminology is that meaning change depending on conditions of usage (i.e. time, place, context, etc).
