Now here's a dead character I recently revived over dA, revamped and now barely resembles his first version o.o
So, meet Vajra ^^
I first drew Vaj back in 2007, when the naga wave seemed to be taking over the world XD but at the time, because I still drew even worse than I do now, together with the fact that I wasn’t happy at all with his design, I kept changing him and eventually gave up on him.
Then, a few months ago, I turned on the TV in the morning and this children show called “Little Krishna” was on. It’s about the hindu god Krishna and all the myths connected to his childhood, it also educates children on a lot of hindu principles through interesting stories. I confess I’m not too keen on CGI animation (yup, long live old-school!) but everything about this show was so beautiful and cute that it got to me! =w= So finally here is Vajra, hopefully revamped for good!

Personality:
- A kind, gentle giant;
- Nervous;
- Tolerant (but he has his limits);
- Adaptable;
- Discreet;
- Diplomatic and ethical;
- Has a lot of physical strenght but prefers not to use it, he's not much of a fighter anyway;
- Moderately religious;
- Hedonist;
- He could easily be labeled a coward, as he shies an most things unknown. However, if a friend is in danger something snaps inside him and his fierceness can match his size.
Extra:
- He loves water and bathing in rivers and ponds, provided he has some privacy;
- He has mixed feelings towards humans, but he loves the jewelry they make.
Quote:
"Only the savage regard endurance of pain as a measure of worth."
Diet:
He's partial for fruit and bird eggs. He also eats and enjoys meat and fish, but let's be honest, fruit and eggs don't fight back XD
Sexuality:
He doesn't seem to be much interested in sex, but if he gets persuaded into doing it, he usually acts as a very passive top. However, he may become more active when he is in season (heat).
Height/Lenght:
From head to his tail tip, he's about 10,5 meters long.

Story:
Once upon a time (XD) there was a very evil lady naga, who constantly tormented other creatures from races she considered inferior. Humans were mostly her victims, whose children she would rapture and devour mercilessly. The parents would beg her to spare the babies to what she replied
“Resign to your condition! You should be happy I prefer their meat instead of yours!”
And not listening to the people’s complaints she continued her reign of terror.
However, a river deity belonging to the naga pantheon of gods saw what she was doing and decided to punish her. He descended to earth and took the shape of a river, slithering his way through the wilderness. It turned out that the lady naga found the said river in her travels and decided to bathe in it. As she did, the god used his divine powers to impregnate the unsuspecting murderer through his sacred waters. Perhaps having a child of her own could soothe her soul.
Some time later, the treacherous female naga discovered she had been tricked. She cursed and renegaded the gods but there was nothing she could do, and her child was finally born.
Vajramani had inherited his father's soft blue skin and benevolent temperament, but instead of having the effect the naga god wanted the baby to have on her, the mother promptly rejected him for several years, barely tolerating him beside her. But one day on a fit of rage she almost killed and ate him too.
Vajra managed to escape her and started to wander on his own, looking for a place to stay and honest work to do.
