Out of interest what is it you dislike about the TV version?

well, its not like I hate it I just prefer the DYRL version over the TV version, the colors for one where very bright and, for lack of a better term un military-like, as apposed to the movie version with the dark Grey colors, plus the ARMD platforms look far more appealing then the carrier arms, not that the Daedalus attack wasn't cool though, maybe my grip is the the TV version looks to much like an big toy, still cool though

Well the thing with the carriers worked well into the story, but in the end I think the whole thing was the movie was a recolection of the original series, a movie within the timeline... so of course for referance they'd use the modern version of the ship that had been refitted over time.
