I've decided on this color combo. :D I like it much more. I've also decided her name will probably be Rosalie, suggested by korokage
I've added her pouch, too. Looked weird at first, but it has to be there. Eee, I love this character! ^^ <3
I didn't delete or change the last submission because I like the comments, and thought uploading it again would get more attention. I'd like your opinions on this new color combo. :D

I like both their designs to be honest =3 (could always make them sisters? X3)
Either way, wonderfully done! Both versions are just adorable <3 Although i like this one more
Sugar Gliders = awesome <33 You don't see too many of them around because of their flying membrane though, which is a complete shame =\
Hope to see more of her in the near future! She's such a cutie pie ^_~

Her body type is based off of my own, as are almost all of my female characters. I weigh 115 pounds. I added the extra pounds on her because of her tail and she's about 3 inches taller than me. Her legs are not fat. :] They're healthy and strong. Besides, that tail is mostly fur. It wont weigh too much more.

..the first thing I will do here in this occasion will happen to be applaud you for using a species that I'm absolutely certain everyone has forgotten about. A sugar glider? I mean... wow. I believe the only one of those that even comes close to remotely existing is Rocky from Rocky And Bullwinkle. (I think a flying squirrel was a type of sugar glider...though I wouldn't quote that.)
I'll say that the originality here is staggering as even I wouldn't have thought up that one. (Then again, I only think of lion based things out of principle, so I won't get into that.) And once again, as I've said in the picture of Amity that I went and commented upon, you have.. a thing for drawing tails to an incredible length there you know. (I'm guessing that if she's 5 foot five then her tail is.. oh... 5 foot eight?) Though I will also admit, that the color of it is rather pretty. Or at least the effect of it it. I thought how the dark brown (dark tan?) goes to the border upon deep sandalwood color at the tip there. That gradual fade there was something I happened to think was pretty.
...that's my opinion of it at least.
On topic of the character herself, how you have the coloration to the back of the legs is a nice touch. It's like.. a fading away color. And I can only say this as you have the background the same color as her fur, so you can notice the fading effect a lot easier. (Or I can. But given it's.. me, I suppose that doesn't quite count.)
Though the hair...I can honestly say that it stands out, that it does! I mean when you were choosing a color, it's like you went from the warm brown and tan colors to the bright yellow and royal blue tones that look like they would be seen more at a rave. I can at least say that it's different. I suppose it's to do something to off set the dark brown of the ears that are the same color as the tail tip. (Or just offset completely as there's no other yellow or blue on her fur whatsoever...)
In light of all that, it happens to go without saying that this came out to be a rather lovely illustration.
....but it's still a lovely illustration.
As it could go without saying, but I feel like saying regardless~
