Another week in the style of weeks 32-34, setting up bases in remote locations, but this time our base was supposed to also have the capacity to process top secret data, which has a whole new set of nasty requirements to it.

Only I wasn’t going. Again.

This time it wasn’t some assignment though, instead I had sprained my ankle playing football on the lunar terrain that our battalion calls a football field. Owie.

….we had a presentation one day, given by veterans that had served in Afghanistan. One of them mentioned that the most frequent reason for calling medevac to their base wasn’t for combat wounds, but injuries gained on the volleyball field their base had. A miracle higher-ups didn’t have them dismantle it.
