Artistic closure to my relationship that ended 3 months ago.

I haven't kept up on Hoobastank. Believe it or not, Doug and Dan were my YMCA counselors years ago as they were starting up the band. The lyrics really remind me of some of their other songs from The Reason and Hoobastank, which were all centered around Doug's really, really, really bad breakup at the time. Now I just need to find their new CD(s). :)
