Leasara too.
enjoy... and Merry Christmas to you all in the traditional sense. In writing this, I again found out what joy comes from giving.

Bah. I hate typing on laptops. Stupid glide pads clicking all over the place all the time. Gotta get a something else to write on.
Was a cute story and nice for a quiet read. I do hope there was no one waiting for the trucker on the human side of the story though.
*waves back* Hope the days are finding you well :)

I mostly use my laptop as well, especially now that I have no desktop PC, but I prefer the little mouse-nubbin that IBM uses to these glide pads. Just a little button joystick thingie above the B between the G and H. Works better for me.
I always like your stories. I don't know how you do it, but it seems to be a signature, the way you blend bitter and sweet with a simple harmony. It leads me to believe you and I could have some very long, interesting, and involved conversations, or just simple friendly silence over some nice tea.

Cute. Charming. And a bit sappy... yuck... Oh well, I liked the story. The ending is really good.
"I'm a rabbit."
There's humor in the statement, I laughed out loud as I read it. Funny stuff. The story is rather entertaining all in all, as well. Not much to say, really, I enjoyed the story and I think that's what matters most. Well, what matters to me anyway. Good work, I liked reading this.

I love how you find such incredible ways to describe things in your stories. The humans, the truck, the spotlight, the helicopter. You make it all seem so effortless. I envy that. And you couldn't wipe the smile away from my face when Becca was talking to the limb. Great stuff, as always.
It's shameful of me that it took me so long to comment on the story! I read it just before Christmas on this one night when my best friend had bought me a box of exquisite chocolates.
I like your work, as always. The best thing about it is that you don't only write a good story, but you set up everything in such a nice and atmospheric way.
By the by, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, my dear. :)

Sorry I didn't get to this until well after the holidays, but I'm still catching up on lots of stuff.
I completely agree with Duroc and Brake; your ability to describe things from a point of view that isn't human is uncanny. It's different yet natural, and it works so well at putting the reader in the character's head.
Excellent work, Vixyy!

Oh, yeah, we did have an agreement, didn't we? ;)
Hmm, mind if I plant this poinsettia out front? It's dying in my dining room as we speak. (Plants should be outside if they want to live natural lives. It was a random gift from my company.)
