Asya Boleslav, former elite spy of post-soviet Russia, specializing in assassination and intelligence retrieval, leaving most of the technical stuff to her partner, Vadim Alkaev. But life serving the motherland was never enough for the ambitious Asya, and during a mission to Berlin, she encountered her chance to achieve great power when she encountered a dying werewolf while travelling through Romania. She made a deal with the lycan; she would end its suffering, and in exchange she would be granted the curse of the Werewolf.

It seemed destined to Asya, but she carried on her mission -or so she led her superiors to believe. She intended to take whatever intelligence they wished to retrieve and use it for herself, and so on her mission to Berlin, Germany, already hatching a plan to her rise to power. However, she encountered a bump in the road when her cover was compromised, and was apprehended by the Berlin Police. The intelligence she had been retrieving was highly sensitive information about the current state of Berlin -with the scars of World War 2 still healing the country was in a sorry state, and had been ripe for takeover -that had been Asya's mission to determine.

True to her Agent ways, she did not reveal the identity of her employers -though she had never intended to go back she was still devoted to secrecy, and to hide her identity, but she was transferred to a high security prison in the Baffin Islands North of Canada -a place virtually inescapable as it was surrounded on all sides by a labyrinth of islands, and where the waters were cold as death. But Asya would not be deterred; she used her spy training, her seductive talent and her newfound power to stage her escape, infecting half of the prisoners and even a few lonely guards who had fallen under her spell. With the sudden Lycanthropy outbreak in the prison, Asya easily escaped in the chaos and dared the waters to get away.

She would have died if not for the kindly Inuit tribe that found her adrift in the ocean, who took her back to their village and nursed her back to health. Faking amnesia to continue hiding her true identity, they gave her the name Assiminik -the Inuit word for 'Zealous' on account of how she showed true dedication -almost fanatically so- to every endeavor she took. She might have killed them all to hide her identity, but instead, having been so successful in her endeavors at the Prison, she took advantage of the fact the tribe consisted entirely of Humans -with the exception of a certain Cougar female living among them, and infected half of the tribe with her curse. Much to her own surprise, she found she could control them; wolf nature would normally respond to an alpha male of a pack but somehow they saw her just as superior as any male, and the gears of her ambition only grew with this discovery.

Reclaiming her name as Asya Boleslav, she began chasing the remainder of the tribe across the territories after they escaped, she infected countless remote villages until she had created the largest pack in history, with her goal centered on conquest and dominance of mortal life.
