Wapiti means 'white butt' in Shawnee. It's obviously another name for elk.
: D I haven't made a nice piece in a long time so I'm happy with this. I love elk so much and it took me awhile to settle on a pose for one that didn't look horrid. I have difficulties settling on most sketches.
