The very idea of existing means that we are. Some stop there, with simple existence. Others question what it means to exist, and slowly, as a result, unravel the dark twine that is "being." Some still are not satisfied to take on a single thread, and instead must, as a nature of their own heart, consume the entire spool, requiring to know every detail and happenstance. Sure, as they sink into the darkness of knowledge and understanding, their happiness is harder and harder to find.
