I still highly enjoy all the friendly artworks I received of from talented and generous people as you, Joshua. They all give me a smile and I love imagining my mascot Shiny having the happy oppurtunity to share funfilled moments with the characters by other members in the community. I know when you drew up this series of Pokémon you hadn't Shiny in specific in mind here but I do also hold onto the other sketch you drew with Joshua and Shiny dancing.
You really came quite the way in the meanwhile. At this time you mostly still tended to draw inside your textbooks and by now you already got to draw and color your works in a digital manner. But you have always been very talented in my book and I always felt like that was a natural step at some point that with how much dedication you've added more submissions over the course of time that you'd become even greater.
Your works always portrayed characters in a mostly cute and charming way, all true to their initial designs, making them a very sweet collection of fanarts. This one included. I've always thought of your characters as quite the globetrotters, sorta like National Geographic-like mascot characters that come around the world and tell stories about various Animals they meet. Jo as well as Joshua both are ones for being charmed and impressed on how many different ones there are out there.
Each time, I receive a sketchbook drawing like this one, I must admit but I cannot help it: I make myself a checkmark inside my head to at some point color them all. It's one of my overly many goals I keep creating for myself. I cannot say when it might be the case with this one but I'd be happy to add some turquoise, a neckerchief with a musical note and some headphones in the whole process so that Jo gets to hang out with the happy lil Totodude that already loved to go for a dance with Joshua.
Why, you may ask? Well, it's because of how much I respect the fact that somebody did take their spare time to draw me something adorable and even if some might think that it were just something random or a timegap filler, to me even such works are lovely and I think such art deserves to have a proper treatment with your talents giving the true justice by abandoning the lined paper background and having colors for the character artwork. I hope definitely that I might manage to do that for all the sketches that I received so far.
On the same note, people know me for how I love to play with my imagination and wind up adding little tales with my submissions these days. Maybe with some luck I'd also have that with the finished art as well.
But I can of course only speculate and hope because I am such a Slowpoke of a Human. Elseway I'd have written my feedback for you and everyone much earlier. But yeah, like said, I'd find it fun and hope that you also had much fun in all this time. Whenever you need somebody to listen to you I'll gladly listen to all of what you have to say, my dude. My totodily regards for all you do. ^_^
