Percentage-wise, tigers and other big cats are the most frequently victimized by the slave trade (and compromise a good portion of Deva's "diet"). But if we're judging by sheer numbers, it's foxes that have it the worst. They're cute, they're fluffy, they're harmless (at least compared to tigers), they're trainable, and they're plentiful. Ergo, Deva often finds them in her care too.

So, what do you think Deva? Are we adding a fox or two to the family?

Deva: "It depends on whether or not they're human. If they're feral, we can keep them. But if they pass the IQ test. . . Well, we can still keep them, but only with their witnessed consent following rehabilitation."

Hm. Okay, that makes sense. Will they let me be the witness?

Deva: "Afraid not. Legally you couldn't be considered unbiased since I technically own you."

Ah, okay. . . . Wait, what?
