If anyone guessed this picture was inspired by Metal Gear Solid 5...you're wrong. :P I actually have never played any game of the series besides the first Metal Gear Solid.
This was inspired, funnily enough by the animated film Appleseed Alpha. A friend of mine recommended to me and I decided to give it a watch. I wasn't really fond of it, but I did like the cyborg characters. Especially the main protagonist called Briareos Hechatonchiron. His design kinda sparked my inspiration and I ended up giving Night a cyborg arm. Later I realized that it's design does kinda resemble the recent Metal Gear Solid game.

In addition to that, I have come across various discussions about the definition of ones own fursona / character. And it kinda influenced me in a way, to where I believe I should explore my own character a bit more, see in what kind of settings I can put him in and the likes. So with this, I was going for a mercenary kinda look, like I did in the last birthday picture I drew for Lyk (you can find it in my gallery). Like in that picture, I again used a 3D model for the rifle. It might be cheating but then again I rarely do like to draw firearms, so this works for me.

Funny side note: In any shooter game I play, I always suck at playing sniper. But then again, my character might be different in that regard. :P
