Previously posted but rewritten with just Friendly and Timothy as main characters.
It's the end of the school term in early spring and Timothy is worried about his not-so-good report card. It's up to Friendly to comfort Timothy, and the fox is always able to bring a smile to Timothy's face. Timothy is invited to sleep over with Friendly, who has a little surprise for his younger raccoon friend.
Mud continues to be a problem for Timothy, with his need for training wheels. Even at night the mud torments him with a dream of being a racecar (perhaps influenced by his Lightning McQueen pull-ups and Friendly wearing monster truck pull-ups).
