It was back when I drew a little...differently: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8057239/
...hmm, yes I do sense a change of direction coming. Trick is, Leon would be even more of an anomaly and pull the rug out from under our feet.
Not much to say on this page. It's just Leon telling Meier something the rest of us already knew. Well, assuming we can remember back to issue one.

I know this is an archaic necromancer posting... but I just noticed Leon spoke Ratazana's name. We only know that name from reading the keywords, it was never spoken in the comic before now. I read the comic backwards to his debut just to make sure. Wasn't there.
So that raises three possibilities.
1) Leon talked to Ratazana while Meier and Alex where having their little rod measuring contest. Very simple, clean solution.
2) Leon actually knows Ratazana from his Olympic training days. That would certainly make that glint in his eyes back in Issue 4, Page 5, Panel 3... a lot more interesting. Simon, Meier, and now maybe Ratazana all want Leon to join their team.
3) Leon really is an unwitting telepath, and he just casually lifted the name from someone's mind without even thinking. Which when you think about it really makes Leon more of a loose cannon than Meier, and that is saying something. If he's lived with it his whole life, he probably writes small things like this off very easilly. Sei might be really opening a can of worms by making Leon aware of his power.
Or, you know, option four is that it's a mistake. But I don't see how that could ever happen...

"I wasn't even sure where he was...I just acted instinctively, does that make any sense?"
I don't entirely understand this line. I get that he's talking about Simon, but I don't quite get the "where" part or exactly what he's talking about doing. Help?
I really like Leon's pose in the fourth panel. It helps me imagine how he's talking, a bit sullen, a bit bitter, but perhaps trying to act like it's ancient history or that he doesn't care.
The ice skate overtop the sixth panel is quite nice too. I enjoy your trend of inserting objects like that (and with the predators on earlier pages during Meier and Alex's showoff) when the background gets too repetitive or when there needs to be some emphasis. It makes the comic feel alive.
