Frysco of Kootenay, the Steller's Jay!
Steller's Jays are such gorgeous birds! Very striking, and they sport a beautiful combo of black and royal blue~ <3 I was super happy to get to work on this guy! I really wanted to show off a lot of feather detail and the shimmer of the black feathers with the warmer pinks and oranges. Again, upping my colour game. B) Said this before, recently, and I'll say it again - I think this is one of my best icons to date!

Oh my god, dude, I can't believe you drew a Stellar's Jay. I know that bird species all too well. I have a cabin up in Sequioa I go to all the time and the most common bird are Stellar's Jay. In fact, every morning I leave out peanuts across the railing and they all call out and come get the peanuts. They are even very picky cause they pick it up, check it, and then drop it if they like that one and go for another. Even when they are all gone and I'm seen outside, they still hang around waiting for more.
So yeah, I'm really excited you drew an anthro Stellar's Jay. Plus, all aspects of the art is great.
