Backstory: The Eyeolet Gemdog is a breed of dog that lives underground, hunting for gems that match their fur color. They use their massive hands as shovels, digging out any gems they find. Their tail contains an eye that can produce light, useful for seeing in the darkness of caves or underground while hunting gems. The eye is also used to inspect the gems for imperfections, unblemished gems are either stored in their forehead or eaten for energy. Both the stored gems and energy are used to attract a mate, excess energy causing their eye and gems to glow brightly.
