OMG. I've had an idea like this forever! have a power that could visualize and produce music in thin air. Its cool to see it in a pic. great with colors and composition. This would be an awesom power to have.
I always imagined making the music with water though! Like a waterbender thing.

I've worked on this concept for a few years now and it's still ongoing. It's based on my having synesthesia, and there's a fair bit more to it than just making music and visuals out of nothing.

Shiet, I had ideas spinning around my head about doing something like this for a guy I'm making, but it's not an easy concept to nail down.
Might change the idea to something a bit more workable.

I'm still not particularly sure if I'm keeping the idea for him.
It's my first character, and I was starting to go a little overboard and made things too complex for even me to completely understand.
For a point of reference, it's 2 separate people sharing a single body, swapping who is in control every few days.
The only thing I could ever make clear was that "Creates magical effects through music, think bard casting arcane/divine spells with the sole component being music", and then having the entire display be some magical "hard-light" stuff, DJ kit, electronica/techno/EDM kind of music, but that's really all I get.
I was thinking maybe technomancy to replace, the use of technology to create "magical" effects, sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, after all.
But since I can't pay any artist to get them drawn, these ideas will just sit on a Google Doc and gather dust until I finally get a job.
