Day 8: Kuond
One of the few villainous characters I have, Kuond is a power-mad mage who uses glyphs to alter the world around him. He comes from a long line of wealthy aristocrats who have made a habit of dabbling on the darker side of magic in general. Think, lots of partially ruined estates and overgrown stone fortresses and spoopy magical workshops - and there's Kuond's natural habitat. His current fascination is bringing out the 'true self' of the other creatures and folk he encounters, whether they want it to happen or not. Kuond is obsessed with the idea of a perfect version of one's self, which may not actually be anything like what they initially appear to be.
He's not very popular, as you might imagine. The last estate he resided in was set aflame by angry townsfolk. So now, lacking a base of operations, Kuond is on the move across the land to an old fort in a gross lonely swamp. What fun!
