This is Sykes, a character created by Samael for a story who was eventually drawn out in this image. He's a more "traditional" wyvern with a stinging tail, but his main design influence was based off of the features of pelicans. He's not very intelligent, but he is cunning in a more bestial way. He's also a bit of an asshole, using overwhelming force and every dirty, clever trick imaginable to make him a feared rival for any dragon no matter their intelligence or his lack thereof. In the story he has grown to a monstrous size (for a wyvern), bigger than almost any dragon, using these tactics to thrive and now presents a threat to even the most powerful dragons and any others that cross his path. Sykes is much like a smart bird in that he adores shiny objects. Unlike a dragon however, he's not too concerned about its value or rarity and his lairs are often littered with glass, copper, and objects that may have once been gleaming but have corroded and become dull. He tends to scream his own name when excited or angry in a birdlike manner and isn't the best conversationalist.

I tend not to really care for vore related things, but Sykes here was a special exception because of his unique design and features. As you likely guessed, Sykes' jaws can open quite wide and his throat and neck can distend much like the gular sac of a pelican. His belly can stretch and expand considerably and with some effort he can swallow and ingest prey half his own size. He can breathe out a noxious, blinding cloud of gas which is particularly effective in the caves he prefers to make his lairs in. Using his sensitive hearing he can can then stalk, taunt, and surprise his prey.

While Sykes is physically dangerous, what makes him unique is the venom in his tail. Having no teeth he must swallow his prey whole. With dragons being notably resistant to paralyzing/sleep and killing venom his species has evolved an interesting and terrifying alternative. Sykes' venom, once injected, acts like a powerful mood and sensation altering drug. Within a minute or two the victim becomes very calm and they begin to basically just trip balls. Pretty colors, pleasant sensations, and a trusting calmness are the main manifestations. While they are mostly aware of what is going on this shuts down their will to defend or preserve themselves. As Sykes begins to swallow them the victim will put up little resistance and often find themselves quite enjoying the sensations. The venom can last for over an hour depending on the dosage but by that time it's usually far too late and the victim is settled inside the wyvern's belly.

Still not quite sure why I ended up having a bit of a crush on this guy, but he's definitely unique and I liked how his features were thought out! Expect to see more of him, but there won't be a lot of vore images for any who decide to watch me for that reason.
