Composite of several quick sketches I made for walking battlemechs, not to scale. The Warthog is a brutal, economical hand-to-hand mech designed to trip larger ones and break into the pilot's cockpit. The Roadrunner is a light missile-based mech. The Gorgon was intended to be a heavy artillery mech to supply firepower from well out of harm's way. The Mongoose is a fast two-seat mech intended to lay flanking barrages of laser and missle fire.(Dec. 2007)
