Managed to squeeze in some art today, since class work was done and I had this image inked so I could color during class.
My Dragon Quest character. He wants to be a hero, and he loves any and every kind of slime. He has a green slime companion, not pictured here, and the two are very good buddies and have been pals forever. They go on glorious adventures getting themselves into all kinds of trouble.
I bought Dragon Quest Heroes for the PS4. Good game! It's really amazing, I recommend playing it if you like Dragon Quest, JRPGs, and/or are a fan of Akira Toriyama's character design and art style.

I was so hesitant on buying Heroes. Most of the time when they name a series that has been called 1, 2, 3 etc then they give the game a proper name it's usually a spin off, and sometimes the spin off isn't that great or has some wierd gimmick. Though some have been good. I havn't seen much of heroes though to know if i should get it or not QwQ
I was really weary of it at first. Truly I bought it only because it was Dragon Quest, and am hoping that Heroes sells well so maybe Square Enix will localize the 7 & 8 3DS remakes from Japan. I was having my doubts about it, since its just a spinoff title, but a few days before its release it was receiving very good reviews on various websites.
I played it, felt a little unsure about it until I finally became competent with the controls, and played a few more hours. The story really picks up, and I love seeing a Dragon Quest game with these newer graphics, as well as seeing characters from 4, 5 & 6, even if I didnlt play too much of those three.
Its really satisfying mowing down huge hordes of enemies you're familiar with from the series. Its really quite fun to play and if you're a fan of just the overall look of dragon quest, I think you'd find it pretty enjoyable!

Oh my god they're such good games. I pray we get an HD re-release of 8 on PS4 or that Square Enix will localize the 3DS remakes of 7 & 8.
Although 8 (and a whole bunch of the other ones) are available for android and apple mobile devices, that's as close to an HD remake as we've gotten so far. ; v ;. I always want more Dragon Quest, man!
Heroes is tons of fun! Id say its worth picking up if you have a PS4 and like Dragon Quest as a series and/or Dynasty Warriors gameplay, and of course the glorious art style of Akira Toriyama, I'd say itd be quite relevant to your interests.
