Sovandar, wrapped up in his pressure suit (just in case!) explores the strange metal craft from beyond the sky. Strange humanoids at least twice his height must have built this thing (engineered it, one might say!); but why did an exploration craft get left here if their maps showed the way to the kobold home planet already, he wondered, as he activated the holographic map projection and marvelled at the intricate, twisting patterns of stars all around him...

Fun fact: I usually end up doing fantasy themed stuff and magic, but sci-fi is my big 'thing' really. It's just much harder to portray in the fandom without glossing over all the good bits!

Those poor 'humans' who made that ship. They'll regret Sovandar working out how to send some sort of nanotech gene-plague to their planet.

But shortly after that, they'll be happy, horny kobolds, and then they won't regret it at all. All's well that ends well. ;)
