Andrew here. Now I was originally gonna have the next Andrew's Thoughts talk about why I like being around fursuiters more. But from what I saw today, this subject deserves more attention. The subject, WHAT THE F---, NIKE!

Most of you are probably wondering why I'm so pissed at Nike right now. Well first off, how many of you have seen Back to the Future Part II? For those of you that haven't, the beginning of Back to the Future Part II takes place on October 21st of 2015. It's not like our version of 2015, but it does have some interesting traits to it that we wish we had now. And one of the BIGGEST things were auto-lacing shoes called “Nike Air Mag 2015”, which is licensed by Nike. And if you saw the scene they appeared in, you'd see why they're so popular.

The company was so convinced to release these to the public that they patented this idea and told the public they weren't gonna release these until 2015. In fact, to show how serious they were about this, there was a woman named Blake Bevin who made auto-lacing shoes which she intended to make for people who are physically unable to tie their shoes.

Well, a few days after she made this announcement, Nike threatened to sue her... Because the whole power-lacing thing was their idea even though they haven't invented it yet... I guess that shows how greedy Nike is... Here's a woman who invented power-lacing before Nike does, for good intentions btw, and all Nike does is threaten to sue her...

Anyway, in 2011, Nike did an auction for shoes that look like the 2015 Nike Air Mags, except they have no auto-lacing feature. I'm not too upset with them on that part. What I am upset with them about though is what they're doing now.

According to Nike News, they have finally made 2015 Nike Air Mags with actual auto-lacing! And are they gonna release them to the public like they promised? OF COURSE NOT! Instead, they're gonna make a limited amount and release them in another auction so that only super-rich people can afford them... WHAT THE F---, NIKE!!

I mean I understand that this auction is for a good cause, I really do! But your company promised everyone that they would release 2015 Nike Air Mags to the public by 2015! Meaning anyone looking to get a pair could walk right over to the nearest Nike Store & buy a pair. Not having to be forced to save lots of money to bid on a limited pair through some auction & pray to god that nobody else outbids them!

How dare you take advantage of your fans like that! You have literally broke a promise and shattered the hopes & dreams of every Back to the Future fan who wanted nothing more than to put this product of yours ON THEIR FEET!

Heck, I have an older step-brother who has been buying Nike shoes for years. And he wanted to buy a pair of these shoes just as much as myself and MANY OTHER PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD!! How do you think he's gonna react when I tell him that Nike is gonna make a limited amount of these shoes & sell'em off in some auction? Not as pleased as I'm sure most people reading this are gonna be.

YOU OWE US, NIKE! YOU OWE US! GET YOUR F---IN' HEADS OUT OF YOUR MONEY BAGS AND GIVE THE PUBLIC WHAT YOUR COMPANY PROMISED!
