I'm not sure what your initial idea of this looked like, but mine didn't even come close to what you created :D
At the very beginning, I was even picturing it in broad daylight, in my head! But the fog, the glowing lights at the horizon... I think you really managed to catch an atmosphere of... Tension, knowing something is off, but unable to make out what, yet. You, dear Sir, painted the definition of lingering doom. And it's AMAZING.
