More humans! :O I need to start drawing more furries. Sorry dudes. Also, long explanation for this with no tl;dr because I like to read. :B
So, I'm a huuuuuge One Piece fan. Like, I despise ALL anime/manga, EXCEPT FOR ONE PIECE, WHICH I WOULD KIND OF LIKE TO MARRY. Now, more than anything, I love the universe itself, and so I've developed a rather amazing and gigantic family of pirates over the years. They're from all different backgrounds and with all sorts of cooool designs. I've made hundreds of people and dozens of crews that, because I'm an American comix nerd, all fit within the canon of the original source. Think of them all as something of a multiverse that I made myself and use as a creative outlet.
These two are my latest creations, and I adore them. <3 Captain Malaria Kevorkian is the little woman, and is by no means a "powerful captain," instead, she's a self-proclaimed "Candy-eating, not really mofoish mofo." She wants to be the Pirate King, but with as little spotlight or attention from the world's marine forces as possible. She uses her zon-zon powers (A wordplay on the japanese pronunciation of zombie and the japanese word for pain) to cause migraines on the masses. Her powers allow her to manifest pain to power inanimate objects, which she uses to revive a particular person: Mister Wicque, a craftsman who was framed for manslaughter and beheaded a decade ago on an icy island.
While they had never met before her reviving him, she found him to be a rather powerful and useful chap to have around, so she allowed him to join. Wicque doesn't seem to mind much, as he regrets not traveling much in his old life. He often gets parts chopped off, which Kevorkian sews back on, albeit pretty shoddily, which is why he's missing an eye. His vocal cords also kind of suck from the beheading, so he has a lisp and often exhales heavily while speaking, so he tends to write out what needs to be said during important events.
Since he survives entirely on her powers, the duo have to constantly terrorize villages, so they're pretty "bad" pirates, but somewhat reluctant about it. The pair work without any actual crew, as Kevorkian believes that having more people would both complicate things and increase likelihood of a mutiny. Because they're often outnumbered, they usually plan out most battles by having Wicque kill one or two pirates right out and break legs of others, giving Kevorkian the supplies necessary to increase their numbers temporarily with zombie enforcers.
In short, I either have too much time on my hands, or I daydream far too much. :DDDD
