A small preview of an animation I'm working on, featuring Lilly and Chris. I've been getting a strong urge to animate my characters, and not do some measly walk cycle. Going under the guidance of the 12 Principles of Animation, perfected by the "Nine Old Men" animators of Walt Disney, I wanted to see what I could to to make my characters come to "life." Lilly's "neutral" swimming animation (where she is just swimming in spot) is more or less my best result of my knowledge of animation so far. I have to say though, as cheesy as it sounds, there's something quite magical about seeing her move about quite lively.
It's far from finished unfortunately, this snippet isn't even finalized, but since it's been a while since I've uploaded anything, I thought I'd upload this. I may upload other segments of the animation in the future.
