Drawing this Umbreon reminded me how frequently Dark-types are labelled as "edgy" or "emo," with the latter being more common on deviantART. A good portion of these Pokémon aren't even loners or depressive! More often than not, they have a sort of "pack mentality." And happen to exude "semen demon" potential.
Geh, Umbreon evolves due to HAPPINESS, c'mon now! Not sure why, but this species seems to receive the worst type of characterizations within the fandom. I blame the popularity of Eevee. AND THAT IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
I tried to make this Umbreon look more like a cat-rabbit, but I think I failed. ; -; Drawing snouts from front-view is hard!

I actually had to read about the game so I could respond properly.
So the game is edgy for the sake of being edgy? Why was that allowed?
Wow, seriously? People can be such bitches. It's not like you bashing on people who use that characterization (at least, I don't think you were), just on the characterization itself (I would assume). Seems to me that they're insecure and irrational if they're willing to go THAT far over (what I'm fairly certain to be) a reasonable rant.
