For Visual Development we have to pick a story, theme, and artistic style reference and do a number of drawings for the story. My "story" was Beatles songs, my theme (doesn't matter here cuz I suck), and my artistic style reference is Kesame (but I fail at emulating her style, I make it all stubby and fat NNG).
Done last minute, as usual! So no time to rework anything, so ignore the mistakes >> (his left leg isn't one of them, people can really bend their legs that way). BUT ayway, I gotta get back to work on another one 6_9

Actually, before my left leg had surgery done to it, I was capable of having both my legs in that particular position (like the left one). The doctors got mad at me for sitting like that, saying I would screw up my legs if I continued to sit that way. Then I had some surgery done, and now I can't sit that way anymore (at least not comfortably). Probably for the better.
This is an excellent rendition. You really sold it with the pose and the expression!
When I think of Kesame, however, I imagine a disgusting amount of crisp fur details, so I wouldn't have gathered that from this without you mentioning her first. (Has anyone heard from her? I wonder how she is.)

Oh yeah, I totally tried to do that but it looked like shit so I just kinda did it here and there for the sake of... trying? I guess XD I also made him waaaay to fat and stubby compared to her style, I needed to make his torso like, twice as long and his arms and legs too.

I can draw it if I really concentrate, but man I was reworking through the anatomy on Rocky for so long that when I finally got the anatomy and pose right I realized that he was too short and stubby and I didn't want to mess up the anatomy I just nailed so I was like OIDNGSDG:SDLGdf screw it. XD
Oh god, I LOVE that song- that line is one of the saddest :[ Well, it makes me sad, anyway.
GREAT job here with his expression, poor guy looks so anguished D: The best raccoon face I've seen on an anthro- it actually looks like a raccoon. I love the anatomy and your LINES, ohjeez. Just can't get enough of this picture and the style you used for it. Nice work! <3

Yeah that is why it is one of my favorite songs, I just feel so sorry for Rocky D:

He looked like this before: http://pics.livejournal.com/airukit...../pic/000ac1gf/ because Kesame's style is very doggish throughout all her animals, but my teacher insisted I make him look more raccoony anyway, so I am glad that he looks like one! I haven't ever tried to draw a realistic raccoon before, so it's nice to know I pulled it off XD

Such a cruel fate to happen to such a sweet looking raccoon, but it's thanks to Magil, AKA Lil, AKA Nancy that allowed the scenario to erupt. Note to self, never trust anyone with more than one alias. They'll run off with someone who's quicker on the draw.
Get well soon, Rocky, as soon as you are able. After all, it is just a scratch.
