Ugly Story is based on the main characters, Clear and Noiz.

When Noiz (right) was younger, his parents gave him up to scientists, where he ended up being experimented on, to create someone who could travel to the Spirit dimension while still being alive in the real world, although, it went horribly wrong. Instead of Noiz being able to Travel to the spirit dimension, a spirit got attached to him instead. not being able to go a certain distance without hurting Noiz, the spirit, Clear (Left) was stuck with him. Noiz is the only one who can see//hear Clear, and is now 16, still living in the lab he was born in.
