While I've not set anything in stone, the other artist's use of purple equally between the hair and fur may be the best coloring so far. Adding glossiness or shine to the hair may help differentiate it or the fur could be a shade lighter.

About notable body characteristics besides color, I consider her discrete bodied or clothed in fur like a Sonic character, like Sally Acorn for example. Her sword can be held in a sheath held by the tail wrapping around it. The stripe pattern on the back is probably like a diamond shape like Flora from Two Kinds.

I don't mind how many details have to be improvised when art trading or requesting.
