At the end of it all, you haven't even finished.
You did something wrong, you left someone out.
Go save them, start all over, try what you can.
I will still be here...
Waiting for you...
Oh wait, sorry, this picture is spoilers. <w>
Though, not really. Short of the reaction to it, you may not know who or what this thing is. But whatever. I wanted to make a SNES sized sprite of one of the Undertale bosses. I am pretty pleased with it. Of course I changed the "I photoshopped my mouth and eyes onto this abomination for the sake of creepy pasta" into something slightly different. BUT, most every other detail I could see was included.
Comments would be apreciated. And don't worry, I have watched all the game has to offer, so spoilers won't bother me.

I don't really know how long it's been out since I only watched the game on Youtube. I do NOT favor the kind of gameplay mechanics it has...
Well as someone above said, context. I am showing something that is in the game, but not telling you what leads up to this moment. I am mindful of others wanting to experience the game for themselves, but I don't wanna have to hide my picture behind a "spoiler" thumbnail and force people to click my image creating artificial views.

SNES sized sprite of one of the Undertale final bosses.
If I seen this, and started playing the game I would be really mad about that, but as you say the internet is full of spoilers which I do agree 100 percent.
But giving away a boss that you have to fight at the end of a game is kinda spoilery even if you didn't tell them how to trigger the event, and such.
Love the image though well put, and thought out about that fight though.

Is a Spoiler Warning too much to ask for =P I mean you gotta be mindful to the people who haven't played the game. Your views on "thumbnails" does not matter. This is contains spoilers and as such; your not being respectful to the people who really wanna play the game. I'm not trying to be rude but this is kind of a blow to the people who have yet to experience the game.
It may be hard to avoid spoilers, but its easy to not be the one to provide the spoilers

this has nothing to do with people treating this game sacredly. You are not being curtious and respectful to the people who actually wanna play the game and don't want to be spoiled.
I'm sorry but this something I cannot and wilk not support. As good as this pic is, I'm removing it from my favs

as for the DOGGO having a warning thumbnail; The person who made it didn't want it to spoil it for everyone. But you, know what? I'm sure this won't convince you. You'll probably just look at this and see this as another excuse of "Ooohhh Undertale is a brilliant and Godsend of a game". Which, btw, I'm not saying that.
This has nothing to do with the game's popularity. That is in its own context. We're talking about the fact you pretty much (possibly) ruined some of the game for people by showing this. On the plus side...your not showing that OTHER boss.

*shrugs* Same could be said of making pictures of Queen Sectonia. Kirby Triple Deluxe keeps her a secret till the end. Sakurai got butthurt over people uploading the cutscenes from SSB Brawl's Subspace Emissary. Blocking and hiding comments is a thing. I have dealt with some annoying people in my 5 years of active FA usage.
Oh, sure, I know all about the story. However, I'd still hold him somewhat accountable-- Flowey went before the player, and serves as the object lesson for the game's eventually finger-pointing at the RPG 'mentality'. He does what he does because he can, and because he's exhausted every other option out there. He never had to, but there was just nothing left to do.
I mean, ultimately he was just another victim of a far more deliberate and malevolent presence, but he still had agency.

It may not be in the spirit of the game, but I kind of treat the events of the Genocide run and non-canon. I get that all ending are technically canon because of the way the game is, but I just really hate Chara because of how boring they are. They are basically Broly from DBZ, and I hate Broly too. An overpowered sadistic killing machine.
Chara stands up as a villain because he has Flowey to contrast against. He's not playful, not remotely reasonable or even communicable, I'd argue that he's not even sadistic: he is absolutely, unshakably focused on his endless quest to destroy lives and become strong. Flowey's a better example of a sadist, in fact he's almost the perfect example of one given his situation. He just never actually feels that pleasure he's seeking, because he can't feel anything at all.
Anyhow, Chara is an embodiment of slaughtering others for self gain and yeah, not much else. He taps into the same tropes as a classic slasher movie villain. That contrast to other deep, charming, well-written characters makes him effective, in my opinion. His value is in how the world reacts to him. "A relentless killer", as Flowey puts it. Which makes his use of that line as a mocking threat against you deeply ironic.

Ahh, well alright then. Not a whole lot I can form to say to all that. ^^;
My thoughts on Chara are that after their soul becomes one with Asriel, as he carries their body back to the human village then inevitably becomes Flowey, that part of Chara still exists within Flowey. So in my point of view Chara AND Asriel exist within that flower. So you get this odd mix going on, and the sadistic qualities are Chara pushing aside Asriel.
So for the Genocide route, you have Asriel at his strongest, pleading for you to spare him, but once you kill him, Chara has nothing holding them back, and can once again be given form.
For the Pacifist route, I just think in all the emotional events that Chara just can't withstand everything, and because Asriel starts to feel once again, it pushes aside Chara. That could also be why he has to stay stuck as a flower, that part is still within him and he knows that it still needs to be cleansed and could show why he never truly gets a happy ending.
At least, that's my take on it. People always seem to treat Chara as something seperate, but I just think is their soul became one with Asriel, that when he turned to dust that they'd STILL be part of him.
But what do I know? I think that's why the game leaves so many unanswered questions so you can fill in the blanks. In any case, I don't care about Chara at all. They are just too bland to me. Kefka of FF6 was a better "must destroy everything" character.
