Here's a panel from a page of Oren's Forge! Wuffs.
Oren's Forge is a graphic novel I've been working on for awhile now. I plan on posting the first 50-60 pages online, starting November 16th!
When animals considered to be "prey" by the apex predators of the world begin to band together for safety, where does it leave those caught in between?
Namely, a pair of pine martens, carnivores and flesh-eaters themselves, but small enough to be considered food for the bears, wolves and gluttons of the forest and field. They're on a journey to seek sanctuary with the rabbits, squirrels and other prey that have gathered to Oren--but they don't know if welcome or condemnation will meet them.

I do hope the wolves aren't baddies. Or perhaps I should learn to shed my biases.
In contrast to an earlier poster, I'd argue against "insert your character" opportunities. While I'd be happy for you to prove me wrong, my observation so far is that the inserted characters always seem to divert focus from the actual narrative.

Well, they're baddies in the sense that they're near the top of the food chain and need to eat, I guess... ;]
As far as "insert your character," this isn't the right story for that, so no worries. The whole story is written and largely laid out ages ago.
