there's a mask like this...'cept it was use for torture. had spikes on the inside and they hit it with a hammer to force them into the face of the person sentenced to death.

heh. ya could still wear it, though it'd be a one time wear kinda mask; see the scene for this mask goes as; your being held down by two masked individuals, a third walks in holding this one and places it upon yer face, grabs a hammer and pounds away, tightens the bolts until there drilled into yer skull and the chains wrapped around yer head and locked into place. then yer released, if ya live through that dude yer one bad mother.
and as for scaring kids, heh, my scars scare em plenty. ^^
