They were coming along decently art wise, but the narrative I was going with was really weak, overall I just wasn't sold on their inclusion.

I'm glad it wasn't an art problem... because if the problem was the art... I don't see any problem. Too bad it didn't hold up story-wise, I'd like to have known where you were going with it. ^^

I really love the subtle hints of change crossing her face in her still semi human state. Her pose is also really well done. You can feel the weight she is putting on the balls of her feet.

One of her best qualities as an artist IMOP is her attention to detail. She creates living breathing characters you can absolutely imagine in a 3 dimensional space.
